Creative Services

From design to production, Daytona State College's Creative Services Department provides a variety of services to ensure printed materials are created in a high-quality, efficient fashion including:

• Graphic design
• In-house printing (via Copy Center)
• Commercial printing (via outside print vendors)
• Pre-press assistance

Additional responsibilities include:

• Promotional materials design
• Formal publications
• Invitations
• Programs
• Newsletters
• Photography
• Monitoring Collegewide logo usage and implementing style guide

Graphic design:

• College brochures
• Mail pieces
• Flyers and posters
• Collateral materials
• Print ads

In-house printing (Copy Center):

• Size cannot exceed 11 x 17"
• Full (four-color) color copies (without bleeds) are available (limited to 1,000 per project)

Commercial printing:

• For large quantities
• For special print needs
• Designed according to budget
• Complete quote estimates

Photography
Please be advised that photos taken by the College's Photographer may be taken and used in materials (including Daytona State's Web site) promoting the College. If you do not want your photograph used, please contact the Marketing and Communications Department at (386) 506-3153. Every effort is made to obtain signed releases from individuals volunteering their time for special photo assignments, on or off campus. If you are providing a photo specifically for use in marketing materials, please ensure that the Daytona State College Model Release Form is obtained from the Marketing and Communications Department and provided with the project submitted to Creative Services.

Publications Tips

• Allow two to four weeks turnaround on all projects (this does not include printing time).
• Liaise with the appropriate Client Services representative for your area to establish needs
• Supply edited text on a disk or via e-mail
