Commencement
The commencement ceremony is held at the end of our Spring term, and includes all graduates from the previous fall semester, and current candidates for spring and upcoming summer semesters. The 2 p.m. ceremony is for Associate of Arts degree candidates, and the 6:30 p.m. ceremony is for Associate of Science, Associate of Applied Science, Certificate, Bachelor of Applied Science, Bachelor of Arts, and Bachelor of Science degree candidates.

Adult Education Graduation
Daytona State College Adult Education Commencement Ceremony is held once a year at the end of our Spring semester (May) and includes all High School and GED candidates for graduation from previous fall, and current spring and summer semesters.

Adult Education Classes Start
Deciding to pursue your educational goals at Daytona State College may be the key to your future. You can work on basic reading and math skills, earn your high school diploma or GED, or develop your English language skills. Daytona State College has flexible day and evening classes. Our programs can be taken at various campus locations or from the comfort of your home.

Summer Work Hours
Daytona State College will be closed beginning at noon each Friday between May 25 and July 27. While the college will be open from Monday morning through noon on Friday, all areas of the college will remain open and available to students and staff during those hours.
