From the Director - Campus Safety

Welcome to Daytona State College Campus Safety. The Campus Safety Department is committed to providing quality security and safety services to all students, faculty, staff, and visitors who utilize our institution. Through daily interaction with and personalized service to these groups, the department strives to support the College mission ensuring a positive experience for all.

Located at all Daytona State campuses, our friendly and helpful Campus Safety officers are available for information, assistance and service. Officers receive training in Conflict Resolution, Emergency Response, CPR/First Aid & Handling Medical Emergencies as well as the protection of campus personnel and property. Do not hesitate to contact Campus Safety whenever you need help or more information about one of our services.

Daytona State helps you maintain your personal safety by sharing information you can use to reduce your chances of becoming the victim of a crime or accident. We believe that an informed college is a safer college. The information provided by Campus Safety is designed to inform, advise and alert you about Daytona State policies and procedures on crime awareness and reporting. Please take time to familiarize yourself with this information. It will help you contribute to the College's efforts to create and maintain a safe environment in which we can live, study, and work.
